Frenchman Gerard Grandville (went by his pseudonym Grandville... “real name” Jean Ignace Isidore Gerard) was a lithographer, born in 1803, and best known for his caricatures and illustrations. His work was a vehicle to express his opinions politically and socially. Today I am including a kitten illustration that I fell in love with!
